Solemn events in honor of the 28th anniversary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs began with the ceremony of laying flowers at the memorial, established in memory of the militia officers who died in the line of duty.
Deputy Chairman of the Legislation Committee Oleg Petrik and his colleague, p, co-chairman of the Allied Control Commission of Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov arrived to congratulate the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the celebration with the honorable mission. It was noted in the course of the solemn meeting: today the Ministry of the Interior is an efficient structure with well-equipped units and qualified specialists. Militia officers carry out their service daily, risking their lives with battle losses. The memory of the dead militiamen was honored with a minute of silence.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that the glorious traditions of the service were laid by many generations of predecessors. During the holiday special words of gratitude were addressed to the veterans who were at the forefront of the formation of the Pridnestrovian law enforcement system. Many of them still do not stand aside and continue to share their experience with young employees.
Deputies of the Supreme Council Oleg Petrik and Oleg Belyakov who served in the internal affairs bodies wished their colleagues everyday peace. The parliamentarians conveyed to the head of the department the welcome address of the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov. It says:
