Love for Motherland as ideology

One of the sections is devoted to youth in the Republic’s Development Strategy for eight years. The document speaks of the necessity to increase the degree of involvement of young people in all spheres of life in the country. The youth organizations of a patriotic orientation are capable of engaging young people in socially beneficial work. One of them is the “The Heirs of Victories”. This movement began with a military-patriotic club established four years ago under the Pridnestrovian Association of War Veterans in Afghanistan. The chairman of “The Heirs of Victories” is a deputy of the Supreme Council, the Head of the parliamentary committee on public associations, sports, information and youth policy Igor Buga.

 “The Heirs of Victories” are the organizers of the republican military patriotic meetings of the same name in the village of Stroientsy, Rybnitsa district and in the Kitskany forest. Their participants measure themselves by strength and dexterity, show the level of physical and special training. All this is for the sake of fostering patriotism, civic responsibility of young people, and preparing young men for military service. Last year, the President Vadim Krasnoselsky was elected the leader of the republican youth movement.

Activity movement is multifaceted. The activists organize military exhibitions, an open-air museum of historical weapons, and carry out historical reconstructions of the most important battles of the Great Patriotic War. The same events are planned for this year.

Separate direction - search activity. Since 2017, “The Heirs of Victories” carried out excavations at the powder cellar of the Tiraspol fortress. The remains of victims of political repression of the 30s of the last century were found here. The remains of several hundred executed have already been reburied. Their names continue to recover. According to the guys, search work is needed not only to preserve the history, but primarily for reburial according to Christian canons. At the end of spring, the excavations at the powder cellar will continue. Another place keeping the secrets of history is the territory of the Republican Clinical Hospital. Last year, remains from the times of the Great Patriotic War were found here. The works are carried out jointly with the archaeologists of Pridnestrovian State University.

In order to strengthen the patriotic education of young people, “The Heirs of Victories” signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education and the Black Sea Cossack Army. It is planned to sign contracts with a number of public associations. The activists of the movement are confident: cooperation can strengthen the statehood of Pridnestrovie.

 “The Heirs of Victories” are frequent guests in schools. Activists conduct master classes in basic military training. This year they plan to pay attention to the northern regions of the republic, where they will present an exhibition of weapons, tell the children about the activities of the republican movement.

There are about 150 activists in the movement. Here are people of different ages. The core team - high school students, students of colleges, universities.
