The best of the best

Today honoring of winners of the XX State Competition “Person of the Year – 2016” was held at the Palace of the Republic.

Opening the anniversary ceremony, the President Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that today it is important to remember that our land - is a part of the Russian world.

The honorary title "Person of the Year" was awarded to the best of the best in 17 nominations: "The young discovery of the year - 2016", "Mercy", "Teacher of the Year", "Public figure", "Person of the land" and others.

This year a new nomination "Man of the Fatherland" was presented. The first President of the PMR, head of the consultative assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Igor Smirnov was awarded special title.

Eminent Pridnestrovian artists congratulated guests the laureates during the ceremony.
