Deputies adopted amendments to the law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic "On additional education" in the second final reading in the course of the plenary session. It will spell out the categories of children who are eligible for a 100% or 50% discount for studying in children's music and art schools, as well as in art schools. These benefits were determined by a government decree previously.
As the parliamentarian noted, earlier similar decisions were made on food benefits in schools.
Today, the right to free education in additional education organizations is granted to orphans, disabled children, children from large families, children of the PMR defenders and internationalist soldiers, children under guardianship and guardianship, as well as children whose parents suffered during the Chernobyl disaster (and equivalent categories of citizens). A 50% benefit is provided to children of single parents, children receiving a survivor's pension, and children whose parents are disabled groups I and II, children from families in which two children study in organizations of additional education (for the second child). The law-in-draft will enter into force 14 days after it is signed by the President and published.
