21.01.2022

Laureate of the State Prize of the Moldavian SSR, participant of the Great Patriotic War Vladimir Ivanovich Tabensky celebrated his 95th birthday. The hero of the day lives in Tiraspol in "Komsomolsky" constituency number 32. The honored resident of the district was congratulated by the representatives of the Public Council today. Member of the Supreme Council Andrei Mezhinsky and deputies of the Tiraspol City Council Viktor Krondev and Pavel Solodkiy joined the celebration. The “Komsomolsky Okrug” viber community writes about this.

The hero of the day has a bright fate and a rich life: he defended his homeland 25 years, he was engaged in creative work and numerous authoring developments of the design bureau of the plant named after Kirov. There are hundreds of books in the home library of Vladimir Tabensky, among which is the manuscript “A Lifelong Road”, written personally by Vladimir Ivanovich at the urgent request of his son and grandchildren. The veteran of the Great Patriotic War described in the book how his childhood and youth passed through the prism of the war years. Vladimir Tabensky due to a false denunciation received the stigma of the son of "enemies of the people" and after the execution of his parents was orphaned early. As a 16-year-old teenager, he voluntarily joined the 2nd partisan unit under the command of A.Z. Odukh as a reconnaissance fighter. He was drafted into the ranks of the Soviet Army at the age of 18.

Vladimir Tabensky was demobilized in 1965 and began working at the plant named after Kirov as a leading design engineer in the Special Design Bureau, which he later headed. Vladimir Ivanovich was awarded the State Prize of the Moldavian SSR in the field of science and technology for the development and for their implementation in the national economy in 1977. This is evidenced by the documents issued by the State Committee of the USSR on copyright inventions.

Grandchildren and great-grandchildren are growing up in the Tabensky family today. Peaceful quiet life that the participant of the Great Patriotic War conquered with arms in the distant 1945 continues. Veteran Vladimir Tabensky was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree, medals "For Courage", two medals "For Military Merit", a medal "For Victory over Germany" and many others for courage and heroism shown in battles against the fascist invaders.
