The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, First President of the PMR Igor Smirnov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Ruslan Mova took part in the solemn event dedicated to the graduation of the Tiraspol Law Institute militia officers.

62 militia lieutenants will join the ranks of employees of city and regional internal affairs bodies in a month. The graduates were awarded diplomas in the specialty "Law enforcement" and were awarded the qualification "lawyer".

The President thanked the teaching staff of the institute for teaching not only science, but also life, the transfer of the accumulated experience for the further self-realization of young officers.

Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov emphasized in his address to the graduates of the Tiraspol Law Institute that today is a truly solemn day, the day when the republic is replenished with a new, young, strong lieutenants.

The history of the educational institution goes back three decades. At first it was the Training Center at the Tiraspol City Department of Internal Affairs, then a school of militia, a school of internal affairs and higher college of law. The university trains personnel for both law enforcement agencies and civilian specialties. 3500 graduates have been educated over 30 years.

The solemn farewell ceremony was held with the banner of the educational institution on the parade ground of the Tiraspol Law Institute. The graduates of the institute marched in front of the guests, family and friends. By tradition, coins in the air as a symbol of future stars on shoulder straps and a general photo for memory.
