Correction of legislation

The President of the Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky in the regime of legislative necessity sent to the Supreme Council law-in-draft “On introducing amendments and addenda to the law “On the republican budget for 2019”. They concern the wage system of public sector employees. The legal norms proposed by the President clarify and specify the size and recipients of additional payments introduced from this year.

Thus, the supplement to employees of organizations whose remuneration is financed from budgets of various levels and extrabudgetary funds in the amount of 11.5% of salaries applies to civil servants; 13% of the salary - for military personnel and persons equivalent to them under the terms of payments of money allowance and 11.5% of the official salary - for other public sector employees.

Additional payments in these amounts are paid on the basis of the amount of official salary in proportion to the hours worked at the main place of work.

The same state employees who receive wages at the level of minimum wage have a monthly surcharge of 108.3 rubles in absolute terms.

Another supplement to the salaries initiated by the President will also be extended to employees whose remuneration is financed from extra-budgetary funds. It means the Unified State Social Insurance Fund.

The law-in-draft passed in two readings at once was sent for signature to the President. After its signing and official publication, its provisions will apply to legal relations arising from January 1, 2019.
