Deputies of the Supreme Council adopted a law-in-draft initiated by the President, introducing amendments to the law "On Civil Status Acts". The content by the Minister of Justice, Alexandra Tumba was presented for deputies consideration. According to the head of the legal department, the legislative initiative of the President, which was submitted to the parliament in the regime of legislative necessity, is aimed at strengthening the guarantees of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens. It is about excluding from the birth certificate an entry on the citizenship of the parents (one of the parents) of the child.
The parliamentarians supported the adoption of the resolution of the Supreme Council "On the approval of the standard nomenclature of the affairs of the Soviets of People's Deputies and the administrations of villages (settlements)". The document is aimed at streamlining the work of local self-government bodies and, according to the head of the responsible parliamentary committee Oleg Vasilaty, was adopted into the development of the law "On Representative Authorities". Work on it with the involvement of local government structures was conducted on behalf of the head of the legislative body of Alexander Shcherba. People's deputies suppose that the implementation of independent powers should be based on a single state standard.
Deputy Yuriy Kucherenko acted as the author of the legislative initiative to change certain provisions of the law "On Currency Regulation and Currency Control". It is proposed to change the grounds for the recognition of foreign citizens (stateless persons) by residents of Pridnestrovie. Today, residents are foreigners residing in Pridnestrovie continuously for 183 days on the basis of registration. The residents in the new edition will be recognized as foreign citizens residing in the PMR on the basis of a residence permit or staying on the territory of the republic for at least one year on the basis of documents proving the right to temporary stay (residence).
The deputies in the first reading adopted amendments to the law "On Education". Legislative initiative of Oleg Vasilaty assumes the development by the relevant department of the educational strategy of Pridnestrovie. As long as it is worked out, this document will have to be considered by the Supreme Council. According to the author of the initiative, she also systematizes the procedure for financing the education sector, linking it with the legal norms of the law on remuneration of workers in the public sector. In the opinion of the head of the responsible committee Mikhail Burla and the Minister of Education, Tatyana Loginova, who supported him, the measures proposed by the author of the legislative initiative "take the education sector out of the general system of payment for workers in the budgetary sphere". These remarks are to be considered in the context of preparing the law-in-draft for the second reading.
