The outline of the strategy

According to the decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Council, the chairman of the parliamentary committee for economic policy, budget and finance, Alexander Korshunov and Mikhail Burla, head of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture, were delegated by colleagues to the joint commission whose task is to develop a strategy for the development of Pridnestrovie for the next eight years. This topic was devoted to the working meeting, held by the President of Pridnestrovie Vadim Krasnoselsky with participation of parliamentarians and government representatives, the official website of the President reports.

According to the President, the question of the need to develop a strategy for the development of the republic is raised not only by deputies, but also by citizens. The document should be based on three basic principles: political stability, economic self-sufficiency and social justice.

To date, the structure of the future program has been approved, ministries and departments responsible for the development of each direction have been identified. The economic block of the draft program will form the concept of tariff, monetary, fiscal and tax policies. The document plans to outline development plan for such important areas as investment policy, education, health, social and pensions, housing and communal services, agro-industrial complex and transport. The Pridnestrovian development strategy is supposed to be implemented through the implementation of specific state programs, as well as laws adopted by the Supreme Council.

In the course of the meeting, an agreement was reached that the development of the political block of the strategic document will be taken up by the Supreme Council, the Presidential Administration and the Foreign Ministry of the Republic. It is necessary at a certain stage of the work to invite experts and involve the public in the discussion of the program.
