Control over implementation of laws

An important function of the Supreme Council is the current control over the implementation of adopted laws, including on the republican budget. In order to understand the overall picture, the speaker suggested discussing the implementation of the basic financial law for the current year at an information plenary session at the summer hour.

The legislators have already decided with the date of the next plenary session. It is scheduled for May 29th. We discussed a number of other organizational issues. So, a week earlier, on May 23, at a joint meeting of the presidiums of the Supreme Council and the Government, it is planned to discuss topical issues of remuneration of public sector employees.

Alexander Korshunov invited lawmakers to take an active part in the youth forum "Tiras-2019". It is planned that about 300 children from all over the republic will become its participants. The opening ceremony of the forum will be held on May 16 in the Alexander Nevsky park of the historical military memorial complex "Bendery Fortress".

"Tiras-2019" will be held from 16 to 18 May in the territory of the "Dniester Dawns". Here they will talk about topics that are interesting for young people: their self-realization, the development of youth self-government, volunteering, healthy lifestyles, patriotic education. It is also planned to organize various sports contests, quests, discussion grounds. “Dialogue with the Speaker” will take place within the framework of one of them: Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov will answer the children's questions.
