Special Representative of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on Migration and Citizenship, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, the Head of the Institute of CIS Countries Konstantin Zatulin congratulated Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and all deputies on the anniversary of the PMR.

“Over the past years, the Supreme Council has created a legislative basis for the free development of the individual, respect for the rights and freedoms of people, socio-economic transformations and the development of the republic in all spheres of life.
30 years is a small age for the state, but during this time much has been done in all areas of state life. The most important thing is that the state took shape and survived in the days of armed aggression, continuing the glorious traditions of all previous generations who lived on this heroic land.
My words of special gratitude are to the first Pridnestrovian deputies - the founders of the republic, who stood at the origins of its formation. You are a living history of the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, created by the will of the people, which has proved the only correct way of its appearance and further development.
This festive day, I would like to especially thank those who, not sparing their lives, fought for a peaceful sky overhead. Eternal memory to those who fell in the struggle for the Motherland.
