The Consolidation

This year, the referendum will celebrate the 10-year anniversary. 17 September 2006 97% of pridnestrovians called for an independent path of development of our state and further free entry into the Russian Federation. The Supreme Council has organized events to mark significant dates, taking the corresponding resolution.

An action plan was scheduled on the basis of proposals received from different organizations, city and regional councils of people's deputies. Celebrations to mark this date, will be held in September this year. Specially created commission is working over the program. During the meeting of the Consultative meeting the Chief of Staff of the Supreme Council Sergei Belous said that the Parliament proposed to organize a celebration on the occasion of the anniversary of the referendum with the government and President. The information was received from the president that the Supreme Council takes into consideration the preparation of festive events. Sergei Belous also told that the deputies supported the statement of the Supreme Council on the establishment of the logo for the 10th anniversary of the referendum on pridnestrovian independence and subsequent free accession to Russia.

Chairman of the consultative assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies Igor Smirnov invited colleagues to present their vision of celebrating important dates. Opinion of the first president of PMR on the need to combine the action plans prepared by the Supreme Council and the President was supported.

The next meeting of consultative meeting is scheduled for two weeks later, June 16.
