While the Supreme Council deputies and the specialists of the Parliament Apparatus are working on legislations, their children and grandchildren have worked hard to create a New Year's mood. They made Christmas decorations for the Christmas tree from the material at hand. The handicraft competition was held in the Supreme Council on the eve of the New Year holidays.
A toy in the form of a rabbit – a symbol of the next year, a Christmas tree cone with plasticine decorations, a crescent moon made of white threads, works made of beads, felt and decoupage technique: 10 crafts totally. Winners were chosen today by voting in three age categories: up to 7 years old, 8-12 years old and 13-17 years old. Preschool children were the most active in terms of the number of crafts.
The organization of the competition was carried out by the department of protocol support of the events of the Supreme Council. Works were accepted within a month. The handicraft of each child who showed his imagination and talent is worthy of praise, the organizers noted.
Three winners will be announced a little later, they are waiting for promotion. In the meantime, children have decorated the Christmas tree in the foyer in front of the session hall with New Year's toys, where tomorrow the deputies will gather for the plenary session of the Supreme Council.
