Specify the Procedure for paying State Duty

The current legislation exempt from paying state duty the bodies of state power and administration, local governments, state and municipal institutions, fully funded from the republican or local budget. Deputies of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva, Oleg Belyakov, Vitaly Kalin and Valery Babchinetsky proposed to specify the procedure for exemption from the state duty. Legislative initiative was considered in plenary session.

The proposed rule will be applied in case of special need. This was discussed by the developers of the document earlier in the course of the meeting of the relevant committee. As an example, cited the Ministry of Defense, which pays the state duty for passing examinations and obtaining a driver's license by military personnel.

During the discussion, the law-in-draft caused questions from deputies. The made comments will form the basis for further work on the document.

Deputies adopted amendments to the law "On State Duty" in the first reading by the majority of the votes. The profile committee will discuss all comments and suggestions by the second reading.
