Representatives of the pedagogical community come to the capital from all over the republic to determine the strategic guidelines for education annually on the eve of the school year. The Palace of the Republic brought together the best teachers, directors of educational institutions, rectors of universities, heads of preschool institutions, as well as representatives of the parent community. The forum was attended by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Prime Minister Alexander Martynov, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Education, Science and Culture Mikhail Burla, Education Minister Tatyana Loginova, representatives of the state authorities and the administration of the republic.
The theme of the current August conference is the implementation of the state policy to preserve and strengthen the health of participants in the educational process.
The head of the relevant department noted: only 15% of first-graders are absolutely healthy. The number of healthy children is 6% among graduates. The minister singled out the irrational organization of the educational process, the low level of motor activity of students, and the poor quality of nutrition among the factors that adversely affect the health of schoolchildren. The minister is sure: in the first place in solving each problem there must be attention to the child. Inadequate equipment of educational institutions also negatively affects the health of students. Today there was a need to establish a social partnership between business and industry.
They spoke during the traditional August pedagogical conference about the need to strengthen students' spiritual health. For this purpose, the course "Fundamentals of the Spiritual and Moral Culture of the Peoples of Pridnestrovie" was introduced into the school curriculum.
Among the main problems of the education system is the lack of staff. Legislations which are on consideration of the Supreme body can solve it. This, in particular, is a document that fixes the status of a "young specialist". The profile parliamentary committee works on the legislative settlement of the issue of concluding a contract with graduates-state employees.
