The Cossack Holiday

Summer sports season was opened in Sucleia Slobodzeya district. The event was attended by Chairman of the Supreme Council Vadim Krasnoselsky and his deputy Galina Antyufeeva and Alexander Shcherba. Honorary guests of the festival and the people of the village were presented the Cossack songs concert. The opening of the summer season this year coincided with the Day of the border guard.

Pridnestrovie is the Cossack region. December 1991, descendants of the Kuban, Don, and other Siberian Cossacks were united into a single public patriotic organization "Black Sea Cossack Army" for the revival of the Cossacks traditions Pridnestrovie. The cornerstone was spiritual and patriotic education of young people, performance of duty on protection of Pridnestrovie.

Competitions and sporting events were held in the course of the holiday. According to custom, a prize - live sheep expected the winner of the Moldovan Trynta fight. A friendly football match between the national teams of Sucleia and Nezavertailovca was in the evening.
