Speaker of Parliament Mikhail Burla took part in the enlarged meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Finance. In the context of social and economic crisis escalation, the result of which was the reduction in revenues, the work of employees of this department is of particular importance.

The head Elena Girzhul reported information on the work of the ministry, the state of public finances in the past year. Figures of execution of budgets of various levels were voiced many times, and yet I repeat - republican treasury revenues last year amounted 1 billion 965 million rubles (76% of this amount accounted for tax payments). However, expenses for the same period amounted 2 billion 556.5 million rubles. Last year there was a deficit of funds even socially protected items, increased domestic debt, which as of January 1, 2015 amounted 12 billion rubles.

Situation regarding filling local budgets is not in the best way. Only Tiraspol is able to maintain itself, and all other administrative-territorial units of the republic are subsidized, with different levels of security. For example, Slobodzeya district provided own revenues only a quarter, and Bendery - a half. The largest recipients of budget resources are industries such as education, health, defense, and law enforcement.

Dynamics of tax revenues is unfavorable for the first two months of this year. In particular, revenues from customs duties in comparison with the same period in 2014 decreased by three times. This led to the fact that pensioners and state employees are paid pensions and salaries of only 70% of the assessed amounts from March. The rest of the state is obligated to pay when the economic situation stabilizes. Nobody takes responsibility to respond exactly when it will be. The debt of the budget of socially protected articles on the day of the board was 43 million rubles.

A lot of attention during the board meeting of the Ministry of Finance has been given to the improvement of the legal framework in the sphere of tax and budget sphere.
