Speaker of the Parliament Mikhail Burla met with Russian scientists, who arrived in Pridnestrovie to participate in the Yakovlevskie readings on "Traditions and innovations in the system of modern law". The delegation - known jurists Catherine Shugrina, Doctor of Law, Professor of Constitutional and Municipal Law Russia Moscow State Law Academy named after O.E. Kutafin, Elena Abrosimova, LL.D., Head the Department of Commercial Law, Moscow State University M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University Tatiana Andreeva, PhD, assistant professor of civil and procedural law MSU M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.

The head of the parliamentary committee on legislation, law enforcement, protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens Galina Antyufeeva and Advisor to the Chairman of the Supreme Council Elena Gorodetskaya represented Pridnestrovian side in the dialogue. She, by the way, last year successfully defended her thesis and became a candidate of juridical sciences, on the basis of a leading college of law of the Russian Federation - Moscow State Law Academy named after OE Kutafin,  she was praised by the representative of the Russian university for that during the meeting.

After greeting the Russian guests on Pridnestrovian ground, thanking them for their visit, the head of the legislature Mikhail Burla, himself a scientist, Ph.D., University lecturer, told the authoritative Russian guests on the structure, composition, objectives and tasks of the supreme legislative body of the republic. He paid special attention to cooperation between Russia and Pridnestrovie in the educational sphere, the interaction of the Pridnestrovian State University with leading universities of the Russian Federation - Moscow State University, People's Friendship University, Voronezh State University, Russian universities participate in training for economic and social development of Pridnestrovie.

In addition, Russian scientists were interested in the current political and socio-economic situation in Pridnestrovie, measures taken by the leadership of the republic, including the deputies, to overcome the crisis.
