About the Situation in the Energy and Housing and Communal Services

Hearings on the development of power engineering, housing, and communal services took place in Pridnestrovian State University to ensure the viability of the state. Their participants were representatives of state and local authorities, organizations and institutions of the republic, the scientific community, the faculty of the University. Deputies Yuri Khorin and Valery Ponomarenko represented the Supreme Council, who reported on "The efficiency of the heating system of PMR".

Themes of ensuring energy security of the republic, the functioning of gas transmission system were discussed during the hearings.

Head of the State Service of Energy and Housing and Communal Services Vasily Vlasov said the completion of the collaboration with the Office of the Republic of heat power companies to develop the concept of heat supply of the republic. The document is aimed at the reconstruction of sources of heat production with the use of energy-efficient equipment to enable the use of alternative fuels.

As reported in the course of the hearing the technical director of "Tiraspoltransgaz-Pridnestrovie" Peter Ganov, efforts of an enterprise aimed at maintaining the gas transmission system in working condition. Monitoring of the technical condition of pipelines is conducted with this purpose. Plans of current and capital repairs are formed on this basis. According to Peter Ganov, at the moment the enterprise activity is aimed at preserving the reliability of the existing gas transportation system, to ensure its trouble-free operation, trouble-free transportation of natural gas to the consumer, as well as to reduce the loss of "blue fuel". To this end, and implemented priorities and long-term programs aimed at improving the efficiency of the use of financial resources for the most important and significant works are developed with this purpose.
