Deputies of the Supreme Council in the course of the plenary session considered candidates for the positions of deputy chairmen of the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank and the Prosecutor of the PMR.
At the suggestion of the Head of the Central Bank Vladislav Tidva, the candidacy of Alexei Melnik for the post of first deputy chairman of the PRB was unanimously supported.
Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy Viktor Guzun described Alexey Melnik as a competent specialist, professional in his field of activity.
The Supreme Council Deputies addressed their congratulations to the leadership of the PRB on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of the Central Bank. The Supreme Council of the PMR decided to create the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank on December 22, 1992, in accordance with the Law of the PMR "On the State Bank" to regulate the work of the banking system of the republic. This decision meant the formation of its own financial system.
Alexander Troyanovsky was named the first deputy prosecutor of the PMR by the decision of the Parliament today. According to Anatoly Guretsky, he has been working in the prosecutor's office since 1994, is professionally trained and executive.
The candidatures of Valery Starodub and Olga Tkachenko were approved for the posts of Deputy Prosecutor of the PMR. The high professional qualities of candidates who have been working in the prosecutor's office for more than 25 years were noted. According to Galina Antyufeeva, Olga Tkachenko from 2008 to 2017 was the assistant to the Prosecutor of the PMR for relations with the legislative and executive authorities. She defended the position of the prosecutor's office at the meetings held in the Supreme Council.
The candidacies supported by the parliament today were approved for 5 years.
