The elite of the Pridnestrovian militia and real men are brought up, which the republic is proud of in the Republican Cadet Corps named after His Highness Prince Grigory Potemkin-Tavrichesky. Today is an important day for graduates of the cadet corps. Young cadets were presented with certificates and badges by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the PMR Ruslan Mova and the first President of the PMR Igor Smirnov.
The welcoming address of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky was read out to graduates, teachers and parents.
Today, more than two hundred people are trained in the Cadet Corps. This year there are 27 graduates: five of them are vice sergeants, and three cadets received certificates with honors.
The Republican Cadet Corps has been working for almost 20 years. Teachers and officers do everything to lay in the cadets not only a basic general educational foundation, but also foster in them honesty, camaraderie, responsibility, a sense of duty and dignity.
Ruslan Mova wished the graduates good health, patience, good luck and the friendship of the cadet brotherhood for life.
Svetlana Timofeeva is a representative of the parent committee, mother of one of the graduates. She thanked the leadership of the republic, all teachers and officers for the opportunity to study here on behalf of parents.
The alumni told our press service that after graduating from the cadet corps, they will continue their studies at the Tiraspol Juridical Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Vadim Obrezha is a vice sergeant and holder of two gold badges for high performance in sports. Today he was awarded a red certificate and a gold medal. The young man said that there are militia officers in the family, so there is an example to follow.
Graduate Kirill Nikora has already firmly decided that he sees himself in the service of the state, dreams of becoming a militiaman, wants to help people.
After presenting the certificates, the graduates said goodbye to the banner. Then they marched along the parade ground with a solemn march and scattered coins not only for luck, but also in order to get stars for shoulder straps in the future. The culmination of the holiday is the traditional farewell waltz. The cadets made wishes and released balloons into the sky.
