The life of towns and regions in the spotlight

The PMR President held a traditional video conference online, in which Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov took part. They talked in the course of the meeting about the work carried out last week in the towns and regions of Pridnestrovie and discussed plans for this week.

The condition of the bridge along Shevchenko Street in the capital and the pedestrian zones next to it were among the topics discussed in the course of the meeting with the President. Pedestrian traffic on the bridge is currently limited. The possibility of including the facility in next year's capital investment program is being discussed. Another bridge that needs repairs is the bridge across the Dniester in Tiraspol. The integrity of the roadway has been compromised; traffic on the bridge has not been stopped, but has been partially reduced.

The head of the state administration of the city of Bendery reported to the President about emergencies at the main sewerage station of the city. It was planned that construction of the new one would begin in 2025, but decision on this matter must be made urgently due to accidents.

The heads of Rybnitsa, Kamenka and Grigoriopol districts reported on the consequences of bad weather and its elimination. The rural medical outpatient clinic was put into operation in Slobodzeya district in the village of Korotnoye, and the renovation of the House of Culture was started there. Reconstruction of the Memorial is underway in Kitskany. They are designing a future fountain for the central city square in Kamenka. “The Dniester” local sanatorium has expanded the list of services provided. 1782 children visited the Zoo of Dubossary at the expense of the city administration.  

They talked at the meeting about the events held during the reporting week The republic is preparing to hold memorial and mourning events. June 19 is the Day of the Bendery Tragedy; the 22nd is the anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War. Both dates are celebrated in all towns and regions of the country.
