Live and create in peace

Every year on September 21, the international community celebrates the International Day of Peace. The UN General Assembly declared this day a day of strengthening the ideals of peace among all countries and peoples - both at the national and international levels.

The topic of peace is especially relevant and is an important component of the state for Pridnestrovie. Since 1992, peacekeeping forces of Russia have kept peace and quiet on our land.

People of 72 nationalities live in our republic. We have never raised the national issue. This is an achievement of the Pridnestrovian statehood. There is no titular nation in Pridnestrovie. All are equal and live in peace and harmony.

This year, it has become clearer than ever that people are not enemies to each other. The COVID-19 pandemic has reminded everyone that what happens in one part of the planet can affect the lives of people everywhere. Therefore, only together, only in peaceful dialogue, in mutual respect, it’s possible to live, create and develop.
