Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council, the head of the parliamentary committee on agriculture, transport, construction, natural resources and ecology Efimy Koval took part in the meeting of the board of the Ministry of agriculture and natural resources. In its course the department last year summed up, outlined plans and priorities that its employees, all farmers have to solve.

The Industry Minister Boris Kirsten reported on the final presentation of the board. Last year Pridnestrovian farmers gathered unprecedented even for Soviet times harvest, mainly cereals. However, this did not contribute to the development of the agriculture sector as farming, although there is a certain positive dynamics. And if our farmers grow products albeit with great difficulty, with success, quality and environmentally, then its processing and marketing is not the case as we would like. The reasons for this are largely objective - Moldova non-issuance of phytosanitary certificates for the export of agricultural products in the Pridnestrovian Customs Union countries, the devaluation of national currencies in the neighboring countries, restrictions of foreign economic activity of economic agents of Pridnestrovie.

Boris Kirsta drew the attention of the board to the joint legislative work. Thus, the law was amended to oblige landowners have and keep a history of fields, now together with the deputies and specialists parliamentary committee collaborative work on a new version of the Land Code. The document has already been sent to the concerned ministries and departments.

A particular focus of the Ministry of Agriculture is to regulate the registration process and payments on shares. As of early February, more than 92% of shareholders received the monetary and financial reward at the end of last year.

At the end, the head of department outlined the priorities in 2015. This is to ensure food security of the state, increase in agricultural production, control over the rational use of agricultural land (for this purpose a state land inspection will be established), and others.

The deputies supplemented Report of the Director, told about the other activities of the Ministry - to ensure environmental safety, environmental protection, land use issues.
