The Law on Budget-2023 Amendments

Parliamentarians considered and adopted amendments to the law on the budget-2023 in the course of the plenary session in the second final reading today. According to the amendments and additions made, the state increases its spending on certain items. We are talking in particular about the Capital Investment Fund and the Road Fund.

An additional 133 million rubles will be directed to the Capital Investment Fund. Both the Supreme Council and the Government consider that it will make possible to complete the facilities on which repair and construction work began last year as well as to include new ones in the program.

17 million rubles will be allocated for the renovation of the capital's stadium. Work there should start soon.

Additional funds directed to the Capital Investment Fund will be used to improve the territories of educational institutions of the republic. The Regional Hospital in Rybnitsa is among the largest facilities to which it is planned to allocate funds from the Capital Investment Fund. 8.6 million rubles will be allocated for the reconstruction of the operating unit, Department of Surgery No. 1, Department of Purulent Surgery. The new version of the cost estimate of the Capital Investment Fund for 2023 includes funding for the reconstruction of the therapeutic building of the Republican Clinical Hospital to accommodate a training center, a major overhaul of Municipal Specialized Correctional General Educational Institution No. 2 (this is an educational institution for children with disabilities), a swimming school in Tiraspol, Higher Art College named after Postoykin Bendery and some other objects. Another facility is the Day Care Center for children with special needs in Chobruchi. 490 thousand rubles will go there for the reconstruction of the boiler house.

As for the changes in the Road Fund, about 45.5 million rubles will be directed there in addition. More than 37 million of these funds will be divided into subsidies for all cities and regions of Pridnestrovie.

Limits were approved additionally for payment for street lighting in the amount of 7 million rubles, as well as for the maintenance and repair of networks and street lighting equipment for another 8 million, within the framework of the Road Fund.

In addition, approximately 400000 rubles will be allocated as part of the expenses of the Environmental Fund for clearing and restoring the 65-meter bed of the Balka stream in Bendery in order to prevent further destruction of the road surface and railroad bridge supports. The law-in-draft has been sent to the President for signature. The document will enter into force after signing.
