The Tax Legislation Amendments

Should non-residents of the PMR be exempted from a special fee for the purchase of housing? Will the abolition of this fee lead to the fact that foreign citizens will purchase apartments in Pridnestrovie, and will this give impetus to the development of the primary and secondary real estate market in the republic? The PMR Supreme Council deputies discussed these issues at the plenary session today. Parliamentarian Oleg Vasilaty proposed to amend the tax legislation and exempt non-residents of the PMR from a 10% fee for the purchase of new housing.

Amendments to the law will create favorable conditions for attracting investments of foreign individuals to the territory of our republic and revive the real estate market in Pridnestrovie Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Viktor Guzun considers.

The parliamentarians considered in the first reading in the course of the plenary session today the amendments to the Law of the PMR “On the Fundamentals of the Tax System in the PMR”. Work on it will continue.
