Changes to this year budget

The deputy corps in the final reading adopted a number of amendments to the law "On the republican budget for 2020". The law-in-draft was presented by the PMR President in the mode of legislative necessity. Deputies considered 54 amendments to the main financial document today in the course of the plenary meeting that took place online. This year budget received additional income from the Capital Investment Fund and enterprises of the reclamation complex. These incomes had to be quickly redistributed.

In addition, there are small amounts of savings associated with the change in the structure of government bodies, as well as the fact that some institutions did not work for several months due to quarantine measures. These funds were reallocated to other budget lines. The budget for this year reflects an increase in the cost of paying allowances for medical personnel involved in measures to prevent coronavirus infection.
