The budget 2022 amendments

Deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic noted today in the course of the plenary session, that work on the formation of the so-called financial "safety cushion" in case the economic situation in the republic worsens due to external circumstances continues. Thus, the state can fulfill its social obligations to the citizens in full and in time. Amendments to the law on the budget for 2022 were adopted today in the second final reading.

Representatives of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic worked together with the Parliamentary Committees on amendments to the law on the budget-2022. Thus, approximately 100 amendments to the main financial document of the country were developed to adopt the changes.

The Supreme Council deputies together with the Government reduced state spending by 75 million rubles within the framework of the amendments adopted today. Almost half of them, approximately 30 million rubles, will be used to form a reserve. Speaker Alexander Korshunov considers that this is a good help for the republican budget. He added, the deputies are confident that all social obligations of 2022 will be fulfilled in full and on time.

Expenses were cut, including within the framework of the Capital Investment Fund, the Road Fund and the Fund for Support and Development of the Ameliorative Complex of the Republic. The deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic consider that it is necessary in the current conditions to save not only gas, heat and electricity. Saving money from the republican budget is also a priority. However, funds were even added under separate articles. We are talking about those that relate directly to the issues of preserving the life and health of citizens.

The chairman of the relevant Committee on Economic Policy noted that the deputies are ready to return to work on changes to the 2022 budget if necessary.
