Elected from the constituency of Parkany deputy was presented with a certificate

The results of the voting, which took place this Sunday, March 31, at 10 polling stations in Parkany and Blizhny Khutor, were summed up by the PMR Central Election Commission. Residents of two villages in Slobodzeya district voted for their representative in the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Vladimir Timofeev was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the 7th convocation by a majority vote.

The Central Election Commission received a notification from the District City Council of Slobodzeya about the termination of the powers of deputy Vladimir Timofeev on the morning of April 2. The Central Election Commission of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the course of today’s meeting issued a certificate to Vladimir Timofeev, Deputy of the Supreme Council of the VII convocation in constituency No. 24 “Parkany”, elected on March 31.

Meeting of the Commission on Mandates, Rules and Deputy Ethics was held in the Supreme Council immediately after the meeting at the Central Election Commission. According to the current legislation, when holding by-elections in cases of early termination of the powers of an elected Deputy of the Supreme Council, the powers of the newly elected deputy in the corresponding single-mandate electoral district are recognized at the nearest plenary meeting of the Supreme Council after the official publication of the election results.

The next plenary meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday, April 3. The commission will prepare a corresponding draft Resolution of the Supreme Council, which will take into consideration the wish of the elected parliamentarian to participate in the work of the Parliamentary Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources.
