The IV Eurasian Women's Forum was held in St. Petersburg from September 18 to 20. The main theme of the forum was "Women for Building Trust and Global Cooperation". The PMR Supreme Council Deputy Chairman, Head of the RPP "Obnovlenie" Galina Antyufeeva and deputy of the Committee on Social Policy, Health, Labor, Family and Childhood of the Supreme Council of the PMR Ilona Tyuryaeva took part in the work of the forum's round tables and sections among the 2000 participants from 126 countries. The delegation from Pridnestrovie included the Chairman of the Slobodzeya District City Council Tatyana Zalevskaya and the Minister of Health Kristina Albul. Pridnestrovian women leaders participated in round tables on various topics and in the plenary session of the forum, at which the President of Russia spoke.
Round tables were as part of the forum work, representatives of different countries of the world spoke in sections about the role of women in society, economic development and strengthening international ties. Particular attention was paid to issues of gender equality and women's participation in decision-making at all levels. The international educational project "Woman Leader" has been successfully implemented in Russia under the auspices of the Federation Council. An agreement was reached to sign an agreement to launch a similar project in Pridnestrovie at the IV Eurasian Forum in St. Petersburg.
The speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko said at the forum in St. Petersburg: a third of women are actively involved in the digital economy in Russia – female executives and top managers accounted for more than 30% of the total number of heads of digital and high-tech companies in Russia. Almost 60% of women in various leadership positions in legislative and executive bodies, in business, education, sports and culture. Many of them are mentors – those who undertake the education of a young employee. The topic of mentoring was discussed at one of the round tables, in which our delegation also took part.
Galina Antyufeeva emphasized that the legislative framework in the field of mentoring in Russia is already being developed and adopted. Law-in-draft on mentoring is also planned to be developed in Pridnestrovie In the near future, so that young specialists feel the support of more experienced colleagues and know that they can do anything. The Pridnestrovian delegation at the IV Eurasian Women's Forum took part in the round table "Women for the Development of Rural Territories", where they discussed issues of professional growth and the implementation of the personal potential of women employed in agriculture. Interesting figures were presented: more than 7 million women are employed in various sectors of the economy and social sphere in rural areas in Russia, 2 million of them work in agriculture and related industries. Women head every third agricultural enterprise, every fourth livestock complex and a third of rural settlements in the Russian Federation. This was reported by the head of the Slobodzeya District City Council Tatyana Zalevskaya. She took part in the round table on the topic "New Solutions in Urban Development". Within its framework, the co-chair of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government Irina Guseva held a plenary session with women mayors. Delegates from Russia, Belarus, Iran, China, Syria, the Central African Republic, Algeria and other countries exchanged successful practices and approaches aimed at developing urban infrastructure, creating comfortable and safe public spaces for residents. The participants emphasized during the discussion the importance of the creative role of women in the formation of fair and good-neighborly relations between states.
