The results of the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation in Pridnestrovie

September 18, the election of deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, was attended by about 57200 Pridnestrovian Russians.

According to information posted on the website of the Central Election Commission of PMR for "The United Russia" party 83.2% took part in the vote. Single-member constituencies on the polling stations established in the territory of Pridnestrovie, with multiple advantages, defeated candidates from "The United Russia" party Sergei Neverov, Sergei Chizhov, Alexei Silanov, Mikhail Isaev, Vasily Maximov, Nikolai Bortsov, Oleg Kankov.

It is already known that Oleg Kankov, the candidate of the Irkutsk region, lost the election, in spite of the active support in Pridnestrovie (residents of Bendery voted on Irkutsk single-mandate constituency № 93). He lost to the representative of the Communist Party Mikhail Schapov in his region.
