The work results 2023 were summed up in Dubossary

The head of the state administration of Dubossary district and Dubossary Ruslan Chaban presented a report on the work for the past year to the President and parliamentarians from the region in the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. He talked about what had been done and what still needed to be done.

Almost 30 thousand people live in the town and district. The main population 22.5 thousand people is urban. There are 2779 pupils studying in the district's schools, and 1205 children attend kindergartens. 1473 children are enrolled in additional education institutions. Local budget revenues in 2023 are 108.6 million rubles, expenses are 164.5 million rubles. 104.6 million rubles were allocated for socially protected items.

More than one and a half thousand individual entrepreneurs work in the region and have their own agricultural producers.

The first stage of reconstruction of the Iskra cinema in Dubossary took place last year. Ruslan Chaban the head of the district noted that the roof of the building was replaced. Social facilities are being repaired. Major renovations have been completed at the Russian-Moldavian school No.7. The territory of the Moldovan school in the village of Tsybulevka has been developed. Major renovations took place in the Golden Cockerel and Alyonushka kindergartens. Landscaping was carried out at the Lastochka and Stelutsa preschool institutions.

The PMR President noted that the heads of districts, the Government, and the Supreme Council will work on this problem. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that children should receive additional education. Therefore, the views of all interested parties must be taken into account when forming public policy on this issue, the opinion of the local authorities first of all.

As for other questions, the first stage of construction of the future sports complex in the city center has been completed. The head added, that there are 3 sports schools in Dubossary, where they practice basketball, football, chess, kayaking and canoeing, boxing, freestyle and classical wrestling, artistic gymnastics and judo. A special place is occupied by the Republican Sports Children's Youth School of Olympic Reserve Table Tennis, where 185 students train.

The head of the Dubossary district, Ruslan Chaban focused in his report on the interaction of local authorities with deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The region is divided into two electoral districts. Both parliamentarians Oleg Bayev and Boris German actively participate in the life of the city and Dubossary villages. Ruslan Chaban noted that the main emphasis on the implementation of the Program for the Execution of Voters’ Orders was on the purchase of computers and office equipment for educational, cultural and sports institutions, as well as for public organizations in 2023.

Deputy for constituency No. 10 “Northern” Oleg Bayev donated computer equipment and other equipment purchased by means of the Fund for the Execution of Voters’ Orders for 2023 to several educational institutions. The plumbing has been replaced, office equipment and 8 module beds have been purchased for the Golden Cockerel Child Development Center, which today is attended by 90 children, over the past three years. The lockers in three groups were updated using funds from the state program in 2023. Sound equipment was purchased for the House of Culture of Lunga in the Dubossary microdistrict.

The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov inquired about the city’s housing stock after the report of the head of the district.

“The report stated that there are 174 multi-apartment residential buildings in the city of Dubossary. How many of them are one-story? Are all the apartments in these one-story buildings privatized?” asked Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov.

There are seven multi-apartment one-story residential buildings in Dubossary. Some of the apartments have not yet been privatized, the head informed. Basically, these houses were built during the construction of the hydroelectric power station. Some were built as temporary housing. The district budget bears heavy costs for the preservation and maintenance of these houses now. Either pensioners or a privileged category of citizens live in such apartments as a rule. Just replacing the roof on such houses costs 350-400 thousand. It is like a private residential building in essence. According to Ruslan Chaban, carrying out repairs at the expense of the state is a big burden. However, such houses are excluded gradually from the balance sheet of the local housing and communal services with the complete privatization of apartments.

The state administration of the Dubossary district provided 4 loans at 1% per annum in the amount of 400 thousand rubles in 2023. Three apartments were given to orphans.

The district is preparing for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the region from fascist occupation. The memorial areas have already been landscaped. The reconstruction of the sculptures installed there should be completed by April 1. The renovation of the Memorial to the Victims of Fascism in Dubossary has begun. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky believes that it is necessary to make more active use of local materials when carrying out construction work. This will not affect the quality, but the costs will be noticeably lower.

The PMR President gave a positive assessment of the activities of the state administration of the Dubossary region and announced the tasks for the current year.
