As it was reported in previous articles, the parliamentary delegation consisting of Mikhail Burla, Sergei Cheban and Victor Guzun this week made working visit to the Russian capital. The Chairman of the Supreme Council Mikhail Burla commented it when they came back to the republic.
Deputies of the Supreme Council had two main objectives during the trip to Moscow: the commemoration of the 85th anniversary of the PSU, which took place at the site of the State Duma, as well as the transfer of the official invitation of the Russian parliamentarians to participate as an international observer in elections to the representative bodies of Pridnestrovie. A single day of voting will be held November 29, 2015
During the opening ceremony marking the anniversary of the main university of Pridnestrovie, representatives of Pridnestrovian parliament had the opportunity to speak to award diplomas of the Supreme Council of Heads of State Duma Committee on Education, president of the "Russian world" Vyacheslav Nikonov, as well as the head of the Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian integration and protection of compatriots Leonid Slutsky, the rectors of several leading Russian universities for their assistance as the republic as a whole, and Pridnestrovian educational system in particular.
Pridnestrovian Deputies met in the Federation Council with the head of the International Affairs Committee Konstantin Kosachev. The main theme of the dialogue of the parliamentarians was the prevailing socio-economic situation in Pridnestrovie, the difficulties experienced by the republic and its people. In addition, the deputies of the Supreme Council invited colleagues to take part in the forthcoming elections as international observers.
During the meeting with the chairman of the committee lower house of parliament on education Vyacheslav Nikonov the theme of integration in the sphere of education it discussed, because our educational system has long been working on the basis of Russian standards.
President of "The Russky Mir" Vyacheslav Nikonov handed our deputies an official invitation to attend the 9th Assembly of the "The Russky Mir", which will be held in November in the ancient town of Suzdal. Let’s remember that last year's parliamentary delegation of Pridnestrovie participated in similar international forum in Sochi. President of the Supreme Council Mikhail Burla was given the opportunity to speak to the envoys of 81 countries of the world.
Summing up his visit to Moscow, Mikhail Burla said, "Our trip was fruitful. Russia has once again confirmed that Russia is together with Pridnestrovians that it will continue to support and assist Pridnestrovie".
