The History – is the mentor of life

February 14, the Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on Education and Science under the auspices of "The Russian World" held parliamentary hearings "Patriotic Education of Russian citizens: "Immortal regiment".

Among the participants there were co-chairs of the movement "Immortal regiment" Nikolai Zemtsov, People's Artist of the USSR Vasily Lanovoy and People's Artist of the RSFSR Mikhail Nozhkin, founder of the movement Gennady Ivanov from Tyumen, People's Artist of Russia Alexander Mikhailov, Alexander Zaldostanov. Small Hall of the State Duma of the meeting was full. Among the speakers were State Duma deputies, Federation Council members, representatives of federal ministries, the Russian Federation, public associations. Special guests of "The Russian world" foundation were compatriots, the organizers of the memorial and patriotic actions from abroad. Permission to speak was granted to Chairman of the Supreme Council of PMR Alexander Shcherba. In his presentation on the issue of Pridnestrovian formation of Russian citizenship and patriotism, the speaker recalled that half a million of the population of Pridnestrovie 213 thousand have Russian passports.
