Execution of the Voter Orders Fund under the control of deputies

The deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic held an information hour with the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development today. Heads of state administrations and chairmen of city councils took part in the conversation. The topic of the information hour is the problems faced by the deputies in the execution of the orders of the voters.

The Voter Orders Fund has been operating within the framework of the budgetary capital investment fund since 2018. Annually, the funds of the Voter Orders Fund are distributed in equal parts to each district of the deputy of the PMR Supreme Council. This allows the deputies to respond to requests, orders and problems of the residents of the district. For example, to make a road, a sidewalk or an in-yard driveway near the house, change windows or make repairs in entrances, improve territories or break up public gardens. Many orders in recent years have been related to the installation of playgrounds and towns.

This year in a number of districts there were problems with the execution of some orders. The deputies asked the representatives of the executive authorities all questions of interest on the conclusion of contracts, on the timing and possibility of continuing work on unfulfilled contracts. The parliamentarians received answers and found common ground with the leadership of the ministries on all the aspects.
