What does the Business want

The Committee of the Supreme Council on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance organized parliamentary hearings on the development of operational anti-crisis measures. Lawmakers have expressed their desire to listen to the leaders of economic entities of the Republic, work collectives of which create material product, fill the state budget. They had something to say.

Executive director of SPAPP Vladimir Berkovich made a report with a set of anti-crisis measures on behalf of the manufacturers. General outlook for the development of Pridnestrovian leaders of the productive sector of the economy is extremely important, taking into consideration the fact that its real sector in 2014 paid taxes to the budget in excess of 1 billion rubles, as the principal donor to the state treasury. Moreover, the number of people employed in the real sector of the economy, though steadily declining, however, is more than 27 thousand people.

Attention was drawn to the lack of legislation on insurance. According to Presidential Decree the functions of compulsory motor insurance in the last year were transferred to an insurance company that has a negative impact on the economy and the income of other workers in the republic, contributes to unfair competition.

Business representatives argued that nobody registered contracts of foreign economic activity in the whole world – this is the exclusive affair of the two contracting parties. This practice continues only in Pridnestrovie.

Industrialists would not have been industrialists, if not talk about the necessity to reduce the tax burden. This premise is the following: tax rate could be increased, after which the company will stop work because it will not make any sense, or keep the load even at the current level and at least something send to the budget. A number of footwear industry enterprises (total of 16 in the republic) over the past few years, all the taxes are paid at the expense of working capital. The Supreme Council last year reduced tax rates for them, but the president imposed veto to the adopted law.

Business representatives are also for the widespread introduction of electronic reporting, the law on electronic signature.

Economic agents for a long time have been asking state authorities to take a decision on the recognition of Pridnestrovie certificates for goods imported from the CIS, issued by the competent authorities of the countries of the Commonwealth. This question in the plane of a political will is not permitted.

Representatives of the real economy are for a greater role for government agencies in coordinated work with similar organizations of foreign countries, which are the main contractors of our businesses. Now every leader of the enterprise, the owners are trying to solve problems on their own foreign trade, imports of raw materials and export of goods, including the Russian market.
