The Investment in Education

Rector of the head university Vladimir Zernov spoke at the international investment forum. The guest from Moscow announced the opening of the Tiraspol branch of the university in the republic. In accordance with the decision of the Rosobrnadzor, the branch received the right to conduct training under the undergraduate programs "Computer Science and Engineering", "Applied Computer Science", "Economics", "Management" and "Law", as well as additional professional education programs.

The rector of the head university met with students and teachers of the Tiraspol branch of the Moscow Institute of Entrepreneurship and Law. The dialogue was also attended by Deputy of the Supreme Council Mikhail Burla, who heads the parliamentary committee on education, science and culture, Education Minister Tatyana Loginova and corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education Olga Gukalenko.

It was noted at the meeting that the Tiraspol branch will be the seventh on the basis of the university and the first outside Russia.

Russian new university was founded in 1991. The university cooperates with one of the largest companies producing Microsoft software. An agreement on cooperation in the development of modern information technologies in the education system was signed in 2007.

The first set of applicants is scheduled for next year. According to Vladimir Zernov, there will be budget places in the branch. Teachers will be able to improve their skills on the basis of the university.
