A group of deputies of the Committee on Legislation proposed to improve the norms of the law “On the right of citizens of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic to freedom of movement, choice of place of stay and residence within the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”. They clarify and supplement the list of grounds allowing the registration authority to deregister a citizen at the place of stay. Among such grounds there are registration at the place of residence in the republic on the basis of a relevant application, change of place of stay, recognition of a citizen as missing, on the basis of a court decision, or finding false information that served as the basis for registration.
The deputies adopted the law-in-draft in the first reading.
The procedure of the first reading was also passed by a legislative initiative improving the norms of the Criminal Code. Parliamentarian Oleg Petrik proposed to increase the responsibility for illegal hunting, as well as to establish responsibility for the illegal transportation or cutting of wild animals. According to the author of the law-in-draft, the existing criminal law norms do not provide adequate counteraction to crimes in this sphere.
