War invalids will be paid compensation for car repairs

Approximately 100 thousand rubles from the budget next year will be directed to restoring social justice. We are talking about the norm of the law "On the social protection of war veterans", which provides for compensation to a disabled veteran for the cost of repairing a car that was purchased at their own expense and needed for medical reasons. Presenting the law-in-draft, the Head of the Committee on Social Policy Sergei Cheban emphasized that 10 combatants who became disabled due to injury are not under the current rule of the law.

Previously, the norm of the law allowed receiving compensation for car repairs once after seven years of operation. According to the new version of the law "On social protection of war veterans", compensation is provided for the repair of cars purchased by a disabled war veteran, from the moment of production of which 7 (seven) years and more have passed. The maximum amount is slightly more than 9 thousand rubles (505 MW). The amount of compensation for each application will be determined taking into account the indicators of the technical condition of the car, confirmed by a document (certificate) of the service station, the law says. The changes will take effect early next year.
