In the course of the traditional meetings of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction, its participants not only discuss the various nuances of the legislations submitted for consideration by the plenary sessions, but also exchange relevant information. The results of the trip of the parliamentary delegation of Pridnestrovie to South Ossetia for participation in the meeting of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Community "For Democracy and the Rights of Peoples" were briefed by the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba.
Alexander Shcherba supposes that our legislature should take into account the experience of the parliamentarians of South Ossetia, who previously unorganized laws on the social support of the defenders of the republic and their relatives were united into one. The introduction of the term "defender of the Fatherland" expanded the conceptual apparatus in this area.
The head of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction Petr Pasat, in his turn, presented the meeting participants with information about some details of the joint meeting of the Presidiums of the Supreme Council and the Government held on the eve and lasting 2.5 hours.
The unfolding discussion marked the need to search for effective mechanisms for interaction between branches and authorities in order to improve the level and quality of life of Pridnestrovians.
Among the interesting information voiced during the meeting of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) faction by Mikhail Burla was the order of the State Statistics Service that came into force. It deals with the release of legal entities, regardless of the form of ownership, from the delivery of statistical reports with zero values. This is exactly what the parliamentarians have been talking about for many years.
In one of the previous materials on the meeting of the faction, we talked about the connection of deputies of the Supreme Council to the holding of a social and political campaign to collect signatures for the preservation of Russian peacekeepers in Pridnestrovie. A number of parliamentarians at the current meeting reported on the done work.
As for the reviewed by members of “The Obnovlenie” legislations, one of the main ones was "On Amending the PMR Law "On Customs Tariff ". As part of the spring session, the Supreme Council decided to release participants in military operations to protect Pridnestrovie, internationalists and "Chernobyl victims" from paying a customs tariff when importing vehicles for personal needs. However, they were limited in the right to transfer control of vehicles to other persons. Responding to numerous appeals to the Supreme Council, Vice Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva made a legislative initiative to amend the current provisions of the law "On Customs Tariff". It is supposed to transfer the right to drive to close relatives.
