The Russian Federation continues to actively prepare for the upcoming additional elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the seventh convocation of the Russian Federation, which will be held on September 9 this year. The period of nomination and registration of candidates has come to an end, and since August 11 a new stage of the election campaign has started - conducting pre-election campaigning in the mass media. As it is known, on the 9th of September three polling stations will function for Russian citizens in Pridnestrovie.

An information campaign will be held in the republic before the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. This was told today by the Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of the PMR Elena Gorodetskaya in the course of the meeting with Alexei Silanov and ex-head of the municipality, candidate for the State Duma deputies in the single-mandate constituency No. 98 Alexander Yaroshuk.

The general organization and coordination of the electoral process is carried out by the Russian embassy, ​​but for its part the Pridnestrovian authorities are ready to provide maximum assistance, the head of the CEC noted.

As the head of the Central Electoral Commission told, the citizens of the Russian Federation will be invited to come to polling stations from the pages of the local press, video clips on television, posters and even using pictures in payment terminals. In addition, elderly Pridnestrovian citizens of Russia will receive separate invitations with an appeal to take part in the September 9 by-elections.

The residents of the October microdistrict of the capital of Pridnestrovie will be able to vote for candidates for constituency 165. The polling station will be located at the address of the Tiraspol Secondary School No. 12, Tiraspol, Yunosty (Youth) Str., 38.

The stations of the constituency 98 will be opened on the territory of the Dubossary Social Assistance Service at the address: Dubossary, Dzerzhinsky Str., 4a, and in the Dnestrovsky Palace of Culture "Energetik" (Dnestrovsk, Stroiteley Str., 19).

Citizens of Russia over 18 will be able to vote. To do this, they need to show a Russian domestic or foreign passport or a USSR passport with an insert or a note on Russian citizenship.
