The first year of the implementation of the state program for immunization of the population has passed. The deputies of the Supreme Council heard the report of the Minister of Health. Kristina Albul said that 3 million 441 thousand rubles were spent on the purchase of vaccines, transportation and storage. 50 thousand rubles for laboratory diagnostics. Flu vaccines and immunoglobulin were purchased.
Pridnestrovie received vaccines against coronavirus, influenza, poliomyelitis and equipment for storing vaccines as humanitarian aid. As a result, government money was saved. It was planned initially to allocate 8.5 million rubles for the program in 2021. More than 6.5 million rubles were pledged, and a little more than 3.5 million rubles were financed as a result.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic focused on the fact that the planned figures for the state immunization program itself and its actual implementation differ by 5 million rubles.
Kristina Albul noted that there is an acute shortage of personnel in the republican and territorial centers of hygiene and epidemiology now. It was impossible to fully implement the immunization program because of this. Coronavirus has also affected. A good percentage of vaccination coverage was noted despite this. The biggest one is against tuberculosis – 94%. Against viral hepatitis B - 73%. Not a single case of tetanus, rubella, diphtheria, or measles has been recorded in the republic for many years with the exception of one case in 2018.
The deputies approved a report on the implementation of the state immunization program last year. According to the Speaker of the Parliament, it is necessary not to make mistakes when planning events and choosing the direction of financing.
