Ilona Tyuryaeva, "Veterans deserve special attention"

Deputy of the Supreme Council of Tiraspol constituency "Central" Ilona Tyuryaeva visited the participants of the Great Patriotic War, congratulated them on the upcoming anniversary of the Victory, presented flowers and gifts. This year, in order to visit the veterans, there is a special occasion - exactly seven decades passed after the complete defeat of fascism.

59 veterans, widows of veterans, Leningrad blockade survivor, former prisoners of fascism live in the district of Ilona Tyuryaeva. Unfortunately, every year their ranks are thinning. It is more important to assist and attend to all who approach the Victory, and celebrate its 70th anniversary.

Among those who defended the fatherland with weapons in their hands are Nikolai Mikhailovich Evdokimov, Aleksandr Ivanovich Finotchko, and Maria Artemovna Anarbaeva. The Deputy talked to veterans about their military past and how they live today, wished health, longevity. She noted that it has become a good tradition to honor every veteran on the eve of the Victory Day.
