The session of the consultative assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the Chairman of the Supreme Council was devoted to the work of the state media. The chairman of the advisory meeting, the first President of the PMR, Igor Smirnov, gave the opportunity to speak on the information topic to all his colleagues, without exception.
His colleagues told about what the state media should be according to their point of view. At the same time, the key word, in their opinion, in this phrase should be the word “state”. Events need to be covered from the state positions, on the basis of the state ideology, found the founding fathers of the PMR.
The general tone of the speeches of the first Pridnestrovian deputies was critical. They talked about the need not to hush up the problems and shortcomings in our work, to ask sharp questions and look for answers. This necessity is caused by the fact that recently social networks are coming to the forefront of the information confrontation, in which lies and provocation are commonplace. To oppose such street rumors, provocative, frankly hostile statements of the enemies of our statehood, the state media journalists are called upon.
"Thrilling people topics". This phrase was often heard in the plenary hall as recommendations to journalists. At the same time, it was said that if people were clearly explained, they would understand the nature of the unpopular decisions. There were wishes for a live political talk show like “Time will tell” on ORT. They talked about the professional aspects of the activities of journalists. A special theme was the work of the municipal media, which in the current conditions of underfunding is particularly difficult.
The first Pridnestrovian deputies for media workers should become a storehouse of historical truth.
Members of the deliberative meeting gave practical advice to the current generation of journalists on how to increase the watchability and circulation of printed publications.
Deputy of the sixth convocation, deputy Chairman of the Committee on Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy Andrei Safonov supported him in this.
Recommendations and proposals for improving the work of the state media, which were developed by the first Pridnestrovian deputies in the framework of the last meeting will be sent to their chief editors, as well as to the profile state service.
