Igor Smirnov, "The founder of Pridnestrovie is the people"

International meeting on the site of the Supreme Council started with a brief presentation of foreign guests. The interlocutors of Igor Smirnov became Professor of Dublin University, a leading researcher in the field of conflict in the post-soviet Donakov O'Bahoyn and his wife Carolina O'Bahoyn Stefanchak.

Upon learning that his interlocutors are teachers, Igor Smirnov asked about educational process in Ireland, as well as recent years students changes. The professor emphasized that the teachers are doing everything so that the quality of young people education only increases. Professor Donakov O'Bahoyn told that he lectures on unrecognized states, including Pridnestrovie. He noted: there is not much literature about our country abroad. Therefore, he decided to personally visit Pridnestrovie, learn about the current political situation, and how is the establishment of the republic.

Igor Smirnov advised his book to foreign visitors for a better understanding of the situation in the republic. The author noted that it is the history of the struggle for Pridnestrovian independence, as well as stages of formation and development of Pridnestrovie.
