Results of the meeting of the two presidents, the course of the talks, the progress of the negotiation process, the intention of Ukraine and Moldova to establish joint control posts on our borders are the main issues discussed during advisory meeting of the first Pridnestrovian deputies with participation of the President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatyev, Members of the Government, heads of state administrations of the cities of Pridnestrovie, the public.
The initiator of this meeting was the head of state, who considered it necessary to tell the founders of the republic about the results of his yesterday's meeting with Moldovan colleague Igor Dodon and about the danger that threatens us in case of implementation of the agreements between Kiev and Chisinau to establish joint customs and border posts in Cuchurgan.
The position of the President and the foreign minister found support of all the members of the advisory assembly of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the Chairman of the Supreme Council. They suppose that civil institutions should be actively involved in resolving the situation: public organizations, political parties, national communities. It is necessary to appeal not only to Moldova, but also to Ukraine, the Basic Law of which prohibits the presence of armed personnel of foreign state power structures on the territory of the country.
Founders of the republic expressed concern over the situation in the statement adopted at the end of the meeting, noted that establishment of joint posts on our border will lead to a complete blockade of the republic, and the finding of representatives of the Moldovan and Pridnestrovian security agencies on the contact line, which is not part of the security zone, is fraught with the development of the situation in a tragic scenario. Members of the advisory assembly consider it necessary for the Supreme Council to speed up the work on the adoption of the law on the negotiation process, and all government and public bodies to work out proposals for reciprocal measures.
