The Youth Parliament of the Supreme Council of III convocation held the second meeting. Today composition of committees and commissions were approved, their chairmen were elected. The structure includes 8 Committees and 2 commission. Areas of work are in many ways similar to the tasks of the committees of the Supreme Council, but have its own specifics that reflect the goals and interests of young people. So, the Youth Parliament is planning to work actively with the Committee on Legislation and protection of the rights of youth. It became clear already at the election of the head of the committee - practicing lawyers, a member of the Bendery City Council Maria Kolesnik, and the representative of the Ministry of Justice, Sergei Romanov - two candidates were presented. Each presented its own plans and ideas to their new assignments. They are convinced of the necessity of studying the current legislation to identify gaps and "dead", unused rules with view to its improvement.
Voting decided everything. As a result, this is an important area of activity of the youth social structure of the Supreme Council, headed by Maria Kolesnik. 26 young parliamentarians voted for her.
The same day a meeting of the Presidium of the Youth Parliament, which were discussed at the next work plan, a timetable for plenary sessions and other organizational matters.
Earlier the Youth Parliament included 43 deputies from 16 to 30 years. They represent all the cities and regions of Pridnestrovie, they have passed a rigorous selection. Those wishing to become members of the Parliament were to fill out a form to submit at least one hundred signatures in their support, the recommendation of the deputies of the local council or public figures.
