A task that was set before the members of the parliamentary Committee on Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy is to establish a constructive dialogue with the public. Active work was carried out with young people and volunteers within the framework of the spring session. The deputies supported the organization of sports and patriotic events. The chairman of the Committee, Igor Buga, described what was achieved.
Igor Buga noted that the Supreme Council adopted a number of laws on the direction of youth policy. In particular, the complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" was revived.
The law "On non-profit organizations" was adopted in order to build relations with civil society.
According to the head of the committee, the formation of the volunteer movement is an obligatory element of the activity of public organizations working in the spheres of ecology, social protection, and education.
The profile committee will continue work in this direction in the autumn session.
