Igor Buga, “We must be worthy of the memory of veterans”

 A meeting dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the Great Victory was In Novotiraspolsky village dedicated to the 71 th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Members of the public brought together on the eve of the great feast at the local memorial representatives of government, the villagers, students and teachers of the agro-technical college M.V. Frunze.

Words of gratitude to veterans for the feat of arms, for the hard work in the postwar years were heard at the meeting. 11 Victory soldiers live today in Novotiraspolsky village.

Chairman of the City Council of Tiraspol Albina Ivanova asked for forgiveness for veterans “callous souls”, because sometimes people in the hustle and bustle forget to tell them thanks. She asked the soldiers to tell more young people about the war.

The demonstrators laid flowers on a memorial plate, beneath which lie 48 soldiers - officers, sergeants and soldiers who liberated the city, and head bowed in a minute of silence.
