06.05.2016

The traditional "front-line dugout" gathered veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in Tiraspol. They passed heavy roads of war, buried friends, fellow soldiers, and all who survived, tearfully greeted victorious May! Soldiers are mortal, and deeds - are immortal! Today, veterans, children of war, widows, prisoners of concentration camps remembered the comrades who have remained on the battlefield, military and youth ... Music of the holiday, music of the Victory sounded for them. Deputies of the Supreme Council, the heads of state and government, heads of local authorities came to congratulate veterans of war and labor, home front workers on the bright holiday of May 9.

Lidiya Alexeevna is today in the ranks. Despite its venerable age, she is already 92, she works in the city council of veterans, meeting with young people, telling them about the war.

The songs of the war years, congratulations, sincere and sincere gratitude to all those who forged the victory, and, of course, a soldier's porridge and frontline cup - an integral part of a great holiday!

As noted by the Supreme Council Chairman Vadim Krasnoselsky, negotiation with the veterans - this is a unique opportunity to join the history of our motherland, to express their deep gratitude for the victory.

May 9 Vadim Krasnoselsky, like thousands of Pridnestrovians, will take part in the "Immortal regiment" that will take place in the general column through the streets of Tiraspol with a photo of his grandfather - Vasily Ivanovich. The Red Guard Krasnoselsky was drafted into the Red Army in January 44th. He distinguished himself in the battle of Sevastopol, where he was wounded, but remained in the ranks. He was awarded the medal "For Courage". Vasily Krasnoselsky met Victorious May in Austria.
